Box Office Results
Luc Besson’s Dracula started off at Number 5 for the domestic Box Office, pulling in $4.4 million in receipts in limited release. That one has also added another $29 million in foreign ticket sales and may be on track to recoup its $52 million budget. Iron Lung slipped one slot from its debut week to Number 3, pulling in another $6 million in ticket sales and counting as a huge success with over $30 million in domestic receipts vs. a $3 million budget. Avatar: Fire and Ash slipped to Number 8 in its eighth week, and it is now at over $1.4 billion in global ticket sales. The horror film Whistle pulled in only $705K for its debut in limited release and will likely be looking at streaming and VOD to try and turn a profit. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple dropped to Number 17 across a limited presence of only 785 theaters as that one is scheduled to end its Box Office run sooner than expected.
