Halcyon 6: The extinction was supposed to be quiet. Instead, the operative is a prisoner — dragged before the very people he was sent to erase, judged by an ancient queen who knows his language and shows him something worse than death: mercy, withheld. But a caged man is a dangerous one. He escapes into the wild heart of HALCYON 6, and the soldier who once hesitated returns to the cold thing he was trained to be. There is a protocol for worlds that resist. A final order. No craters, no evidence, no survivors — only a world that “failed to thrive.” He saw them as people. Now he means to make them vanish.

Johnny Jay Says: The first two eps of this web series certainly echo the look and feel and even some of the themes of the Avatar films with some swipes from a few other genre entries as well. But still, this is developing into an interesting story, and I will be sticking with it. The highlight is certainly the animation which is absolutely top-notch and should get the creative team some attention in Hollywood. Note that this does not appear to be connected to the Halcyon 6 video game with which it shares a name.
