Sci Fi TV Premieres for September 2026: American Horror Story S13, Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 S2, City of Blood, and More

Sci Fi TV Premieres: A rundown of all the new and returning sci fi and fantasy TV shows and original movies that will have a premiere in the current month. This information is based on premieres announced at the time of this posting (though check back for updates) and will include trailers if available. Note that premiere dates and times can change with little or no notice.

September currently has five sci fi and fantasy TV show premieres on the schedule, which is the same as the prior month, and there are three original movies as well. The Shudder film Parasomnia kicks things off this week and that is followed by another original from that streamer, Season 3 of The Creep Tapes, which arrives mid-month. The Hulu sci fi/horror movie A City of Blood follows that, and then the animated series Golden Axe has its premiere on the same day on Paramount+. Season 2 of the Netflix’s animated continuation of Stranger Things is next followed by Shudder’s third entry for the month, the horror film Goody Goody. Season 2 of Starz’s Outlander spin-off Blood of my Blood follows and the month wraps up with the thirteenth installment of FX’s long-running season-long horror series American Horror Story. More shows could be added to the schedule throughout the month, so keep an eye on the Sci Fi TV Premieres page over at CancelledSciFi.com and our Sci Fi TV Schedule for updates.  You can see the rundown of all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows and movies coming to streaming in September at this link.
