All of the Sci Fi and Fantasy Movies and TV Shows Coming to Streaming in February 2026

Monthly post tracking the sci fi, fantasy, and horror movies coming to the streaming services in the current month.  Note that streaming availability can change with little to no notice.

February does not offer much in the way of streaming originals (in bold below, and you can see more detail on those at this link), but there are plenty of other options for sci fi fans on the services coming in the month. Most notable is the fact that all ten seasons of Stargate: SG-1 will arrive on Netflix on February 15th (it is unclear if the two movies, The Ark of Truth and Continuum, will be available there as well). Also of interest, all four seasons of The Good Place will be coming to Disney+/Hulu, and Spaceballs will arrive on Tubi as a warm-up to the upcoming sequel that arrives next year.

Highlights for February 2026:

Stargate: SG-1 (1997) Seasons 1-10: A gateway that allowed ancient aliens to travel to Earth is discovered and Stargate Command is established to monitor activity and guard against hostiles that present a threat to the planet. Several teams are set up to travel through the gate and explore new worlds with the primary team, SG-1, consisting of Colonel Jack O’Neill, Captain Samantha Carter, scientist Daniel Jackson, and the alien Teal’c. They travel to the worlds that the ancient aliens had previously visited while also defending against threats such as the Goa-uld, the Replicators, and the Ori. Premieres on Netflix February 15th, also currently streaming on Prime Video.

The Good Place (2016) Seasons 1-4: This comedy begins when Eleanor Shellstrop finds herself in the afterlife and is mistakenly welcomed into a utopian “Good Place” reserved for the morally righteous. As she tries to hide the truth about who she really was on Earth, she starts to learn what it truly means to be a good person. Premieres on Disney+/Hulu February 9th, currently streaming on Peacock and Prime Video.

Spaceballs (1987): This Mel Brooks film spoofs Star Wars and other space operas, as it follows rogue hero Lone Starr and his mismatched crew while they try to stop the evil Dark Helmet from stealing a planet’s air supply.  Premieres on Tubi February 1st, currently streaming on HBO Max, The Roku Channel, and YouTube.
