Box Office Results
It was a slow week for sci fi and fantasy movies at the Box Office, with only one genre entry in the Top 10 and 3 in the Top 20. Avatar: Fire and Ash slipped two slots to Number 10, pulling in another $1.8 million in domestic receipts. That one is approaching $1.5 billion in global ticket sales on a budget of $400 and should be in the black at this point. The sci fi comedy Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die slipped to Number 12 in its second week of limited release with $1.5 million in receipts, and that one will likely be moving to home video shortly. Luc Besson’s Dracula was at Number 13 with a weekend intake of $1.3 million, and it has pulled in $40.1 million in global ticket sales thus far. New zombie film This Is Not a Test was outside of the Top 20 at Number 28 for its debut in limited release with only $143K in receipts. Streaming Results
The Running Man slipped to Number 5 in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for its second week of streaming on Paramount+, pulling in an estimated 345 million minutes of viewing. The supernatural drama Sinners returned to the charts for HBO Max, landing at Number 6 with 297 million minutes viewed. In the Netflix Top 10, Prometheus was at Number 2 for its 2026 debut on the streaming service, pulling in 13.6 million hours of viewing across 6.6 million accounts. Both of the live-action Addams Family movies also entered that chart with the first at Number 4 with 5.3 million accounts tuning in and the second at Number 5 with 5.3 million accounts.
