All of the Sci Fi and Fantasy Movies and TV Shows Coming to Streaming in June 2026

Streaming Sci Fi: Monthly post tracking the sci fi, fantasy, and horror movies coming to the streaming services in the current month.  Note that streaming availability can change with little to no notice.

June brings plenty of sci fi and fantasy streaming options, both original productions and encore runs. Among the big premieres for the month is Avatar: Fire and Ash which arrives on streaming at Disney+ June 22nd following a successful theatrical run. Also of interest, all four of the Star Trek: The Next Generation feature films will arrive on Tubi at the beginning of the month. And Disney+ will be sharing the first three Captain America films with Hulu starting in June. Shudder will release the sixth and seventh seasons of Tales from the Crypt this month, making the entire series available there, while the original run of Heroes will head to Tubi and all five seasons of The Last Ship will be sailing to Netflix. Highlights for the Month:

Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025): Jake and Neytiri’s family grapples with grief, encountering a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe, the Ash People, who are led by the fiery Varang, as the conflict on Pandora escalates and a new moral focus emerges. Premieres on Disney+ June 24th.

Star Trek: Generations (1994): With the help of long presumed dead Captain Kirk, Captain Picard must stop a deranged scientist willing to murder on a planetary scale in order to enter a space matrix. Premieres on Tubi June 1st.

The Last Ship (2014): The crew of a naval destroyer is forced to confront the reality of a new existence when a pandemic kills off most of the earth’s population. Premieres on Netflix June 22nd.
